The Rest of the Dead

Untold millions have lived and died without ever having had an opportunity for salvation.  Just what does God have in store for the rest of the dead?

(Revelation 20:5 KJV)  But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

(2 Peter 3:9 KJV)  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

(John 6:44 KJV)  No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

(James 1:18 KJV)  Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

(Romans 8:9 KJV)  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

(Revelation 20:12 KJV)  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

(Revelation 20:13 KJV)  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

(Romans 11:1 KJV)  I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

(Romans 11:7 KJV)  What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded

(Romans 11:8 KJV)  (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

(Romans 11:15 KJV)  For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

(Ezekiel 37:1 KJV)  The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

(Ezekiel 37:5 KJV)  Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

(Ezekiel 37:6 KJV)  And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

(Ezekiel 37:11 KJV)  Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.

(Ezekiel 37:12 KJV)  Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

(1 Corinthians 15:50 KJV)  Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
